0ver 50 Years of Faithful Service

Alvin Walker first started coming to Bread of Life Mission to do chapel services in 1954. In the 1970’s Alvin began leading a group of volunteers from Shoreline Full Gospel Fellowship. He is still in charge of that group. Through the years his wife and children have volunteered with him as well.

Alvin tells another very special story from his many years of volunteering at the Mission.

One night in 1962 he came to do a service and his own father was sitting in the congregation. His father had drifted away from the family for a few years. He came to Bread of Life Mission and found friendship here. He also accepted Jesus Christ into his life. Just a few months later Alvin’s father passed away. What a fantastic story of the love and faithfulness of our Father.
