Today we were blessed with a team of 14 people from Ecos Consulting. Their office is down the street from the Mission, and they wanted to see what they could do to help.
They decided that one of the best ways for them to help the Mission in a really sustainable way was to replace all of our faucets with new ones that are more efficient, thereby reducing waste and helping to lower our water bill. Then they toured the facility to see what other areas could use upgrades in terms of energy conservation. What an amazing gift of time, labor and expertise.

Still..that wasn’t enough…they wanted to do more. They came as a team and served meals to the homeless for our Tuesday hot lunch, then stayed and helped to clean the kitchen.
